Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

Costs to consider include:

  • uniforms

  • school books and equipment

  • excursions

  • co-curricular activities.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

The Dept of Education and Training provides funds for only basic classroom equipment. We depend on financial assistance from parents to cover the additional cost of items such as library books, classroom materials and copying consumables, eg paper, toner, etc, to name just a few.

Sufficient funding is always greatly needed and your commitment in this area is very much appreciated. Voluntary School Contribution payments are requested at the beginning of the school year and are currently set at $20.00 per family.

In addition to this we also ask that each student purchase a Student Requirement pack. Depending upon the grade, this pack includes items such as a dictionary, calculator, handwriting textbook, a USB stick and also two student display folders. The School Requirement Pack also includes the cost of a student Mathletics account.

A note detailing the cost for each grade can be obtained from the front office.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
